Mayn Aid was birthed with a vision to help pregnant mothers and babies in communities with no access to health centers where they can go and deliver their babies safely through the provision of necessary Health Care Services and Supplies.
Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR)
Uganda’s Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) has consistently been one of the highest in the world with 343 deaths per 100,000 live births.
We can reduce Maternal Mortality in rural Uganda by providing all pregnant women and their infants with the recommended level of Maternal and Health Care which will reduce Maternal deaths.
Our Plan
As an organization in order to achieve this, we need;
- To purchase land for the construction of a standard hospital where mother and their babies are able to access these quality health services.
- Putting in place nurseries for new born babies.
- Buying a freezer for storage of maternity items, more maternity beds, baby beds and other health facilities.
- Opening up clinics in different rural areas.
- Building a home and schools for the vulnerable children and orphans.
However, opportunities are also given to friends and well wishers that want to;
- Contribute to this cause and help make this dream a reality.
- One can even pledge to construct a clinic, school etc in their names.

An “Emergency Birth Kit” can save lives when women are forced to deliver their babies under challenging conditions. These kits contain the supplies needed to prevent infection during childbirth, one of the leading causes of Maternal Mortality globally. These kits contain supplies including:
- Soap
- A sterile plastic
- A razor blade
- A blanket
- An umbilical cord tie
- Latex gloves
